HIGH SCHOOL CHAPEL
Tuesday: HARRISON & PRAYER. Harrison captivated his fellow students with a testimony about sports, numerous injuries and looking to God. He challenged all of us to more deeply trust in the Lord. After Harrison shared, we spent time in individual and group prayer.
Thursday: GREG ARMSTRONG. Greg returned to Timothy to speak in our Bridge Builders Chapel. The theme of the talk was racial reconciliation. With a foundation in God’s Word and adding interest with some Timothy Christian stories when he as a student, Greg emphasized our unity in Jesus Christ, the value of acknowledging our differences and the importance of conversation.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL
Wednesday: KYLE BJERGA. Kyle spoke about the greatness of Almighty God. Because of God’s vastness, we should expect that our view of God will always be too small. Isaiah 55:9, “As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Our response to God’s greatness is to feed on the Bible, seek Jesus in prayer, trust in God more deeply, and be humble.
