HIGH SCHOOL CHAPELS
Tuesday: Mr. Lindloff and his family led us in an advent chapel. We pretended we were in the Lindloff living room to watch how they celebrate advent. Their table was made into a sacred space. With the lights off, the first advent candle was lit. Mr. Lindloff then told a Bible story using small wooden figures. It was a story of hope and expectation that Jesus will come again! Thursday: Small group chapel today. After answering the question ”what are you looking forward to over Christmas break (besides sleeping)?”, we read from Romans 12:9-16. Then each student was challenged to think of someone who could really use a note of encouragement. Then they wrote that person a note. It was a small, but meaningful way to live out our faith.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL
Tuesday: Timothy dad, Kevin Smith, was our speaker. He shared his testimony of coming to faith in Christ and shared about how he was called to ministry. One of his avenues of ministry is to share the gospel through luncheons for people of influence in the Chicago area.
