Chapel Band & Scott Murray

HIGH SCHOOL CHAPELS
Tuesday: Our chapel band led us for the last time this school year. We sang My Lighthouse, This is Amazing Grace, How Deep the Father's Love,  and Ever Be. To watch the chapel, CLICK HERE

Thursday: Scott Murray, pastor of young adults at Wheaton Bible Church, spoke. With great stories and conviction, he explained that when people are on a mission together, one result is community. God's people are called to live out Micah 6:8 with a sense of mission in the context of community. To watch the chapel, CLICK HERE

Thursday: Scott Murray spoke in the middle school chapel as well.

Peltz, Houduras Testimonies, VanderBill Homeroom

HIGH SCHOOL CHAPELS
Tuesday: Jeff Peltz, one of the Wheaton College football coaches, was our speaker. He spoke about following Jesus and serving others. One of his ministries at Wheaton is to organize spring break mission/serve trips for football players. They go to places around the world where Wheaton football player alum are serving. Thursday: Bob VenHousen arranged for us to have two young women from Honduras who grew up in the All God's Children orphanage there. Tatiana and Marcella spoke with confidence, hope and joy about how Jesus saved them and changed them. They challenged students to trust Jesus with their whole lives. Mrs. Baio served as translator. MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL
Wednesday: Mr. VanderBill's homeroom led chapel. We began by singing 10,000 Reasons & You Never Let Go. Students prayed and read Scripture. Mr. VanderBill shared about the highs and lows of his life. We will all go through struggles. In every part of life, we need to look to Jesus and trust in him. He is with us and will carry us through. Chapel closed with Mr. Lundeen singing Come as You Are

Choir, Dr. Litfin, Fernandes Homeroom

HIGH SCHOOL CHAPELS

Thursday: Former Wheaton College president, Duane Litfin, spoke. He spoke about Jesus' prayer in John 17:1-5. Jesus prays to be glorified. Dr. Litfin answered the question "what does this prayer mean?" He challenged our view of Jesus and clearly explained the consequences of having an exalted view of Jesus Christ. MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL
Wednesday: Mr. Fernandes' Homeroom led chapel. We began by singing My Lighthouse, Every Move I Make, and I am Free. The focus was on being open to how God wants to use us and putting Jesus first so that he can use us. We watched part of a Tony Dungy I am Second video, CLICK HERE

Mr. Pelt & Faith CRC Worship Band

HIGH SCHOOL CHAPELS
Tuesday: Mr. Pelt was our speaker. He read from Acts 9 about Saul's conversion and then gave personal testimony of how God has worked in his life. He concluded by singing Solsbury Hill. Students were challenged to make choices that show they are following Jesus. To watch the chapel, CLICK HERE
