Father John Paul, Black History Chapel, Loving Others

HIGH SCHOOL CHAPELS
TUESDAY: We were blessed by a message from Father John Paul, a Coptic Orthodox priest. He spoke about following the will of God. His message was Biblical, practical and full of wisdom. While working on his PhD, he assists at St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Church, where a few Timothy students attend.

THURSDAY: We were treated to the Black History Chapel. It began with trivia questions about famous African-American inventors. Tyra and Maya read poems. Kendra led the gospel songs: "Wade in the Water", " O Happy Day", "You Are Good". Ariana S. helped lead the song in the video.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: The theme was loving one another. After singing songs that highlighted God's love and the need to love others, Mrs. Schemper read Bible passages and then the book, "Three Questions". "What are the questions?", you may ask. They are, "What is the best time to do things?", "Who is the most important one?", "What is the right thing to do?"

NEXT WEEK
High School: John Hays and a hymn chapel
Middle School: Vander Bill's homeroom

Location:Timothy Christian School, Elmhurst, IL
