Drought

Although recent rain has greened the grass, the effects of this summer's drought remain. You may know that I notice trees. I took a picture of a sad tree in the park--a tree that may not survive the drought. How has your summer been spiritually? Are you well-watered or in a drought. Jesus says in John 4 that he gives abundant, living water. Do not look to the world to satisfy your thirst for security and significance, for love and meaning. Look to Jesus. "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33
