Tuesday: CASSANDRA MA, the founder and director of Reclaim13, a ministry focused on breaking the cycle of sexual exploitation. Her talk highlighted the reality of sex trafficking in the world and in the Chicago area. Thursday: SMALL GROUPS focus on different types of prayer. Students discussed different types of prayer and how these types of prayer challenge their personal prayer life.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL
Wednesday: MRS. DEBOER’S HOMEROOM. Topic: When Life Isn’t Going the Way You Planned. Students reflected on responses to this statement through playing Kahoot and Scripture. The main takeaway was a challenge to: 1. Talk to someone you trust, 2. Read the Bible, 3. Pray.
