The 1st Graders! Along with Small Groups & MS Summer Sharing

HIGH SCHOOL CHAPEL

Tuesday: First small group chapel of the year. The groups read the chapel theme verse, Hebrews 12:1-3, and were challenged to represent the verse with all their names in an artistic way. Then they shared about their summer and hopes for the coming school year.

Thursday: Chapel with the 1st graders–a beloved yearly tradition. We sang kids songs. I told a story about thankfulness using the character from the Octoberfest set (thanks to Adrian for voicing the characters!). Then the first graders read the chapel theme verses, led us in the Lord’s Prayer and sang High as a Mountain. 

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Wednesday: Mr. Lundeen, along with Sierra, led our worship through song. Then we saw a summer student slideshow. After a time of reflective prayer, students were invited to the stage to share a spiritual highlight of the summer. We had the most students ever come forward (see the photos). It was so encouraging to hear how God worked in the students' lives.
