HIGH SCHOOL CHAPELS
Tuesday: Stephanie led off chapel with a solo, Holy Spirit, You Are Welcome Here with the help of Nate & Andrew. Mr. Wiener spoke on the theme of “Love Kindness”. The three points of the talk: 1) Love Kindness 2) Why Love Kindness? 3) Being Kind to the Unkind. We ended by all singing a song about God’s love: One Thing Remains. To watch the chapel, CLICK HERE
Thursday: Small group chapel with a focus on what we all did for RENEW. After reading Philippians 3:10-14, students answered, “What stood out to you from RENEW, with special attention to how God worked in your life?” and “How do you think that God wants you to press on in the faith in 2016?”.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL
Tuesday: After singing, 8th grade language arts teacher, Mr. Schutte, shared. He shared about wisdom for life for middle schoolers. He offered great points like “keep Jesus first” and “let difficulties refine you, not define you”.
