Sitting By A Pond

Weeping Willows and Linden trees,
Sitting here makes me feel at ease,
Wild flowers and meadows green,
Create a setting so serene,
The pond, the fountain, even the geese,
My heart is glad, my soul's at peace,
The rich, blue sky and the clouds pure white,
Top off this scene with endless delight.
My God, you're an artist beyond compare,
And now please hear my simple prayer,
Make me a picture, a sculpture, a song,
That lets the world know to you I belong.
