What Runs Through Your Mind?
Repeated thoughts running through our minds affects our lives. What runs through your mind on a daily basis? I want to do what I want to do. I want to feel good. I want people to agree with me. How about this? I AM FORGIVEN!
1 John 2:12, "I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name."

Do You Pray Outside?
If you are having trouble enjoying and/or focusing during daily devotions...if you are not feeling that this time is meaningful...if you are ignoring the need for a daily time in God's Word and intentional prayer...then what should you do? One important bit of advice is to simply make changes. Don't settle for the status quo. Set a daily time that fits your schedule and change what you are currently doing. If you are not sure what to change, talk to someone else for their ideas. One great idea is to take adavantage of beautiful summer weather and go outside. Here is the view from my devotional spot today:

Senior Chapel, Summer Challenge, Kyle Groters
HIGH SCHOOL CHAPEL
Tuesday: Senior Chapel. All the seniors sat on the stage to watch a video of photos of the class of 2014. Baby pictures transitioned to graduation pictures and future plans. Many photos of the past allowed the seniors to walk down memory lane. Thanks to Abigail for her great work on the video. We ended chapel with the teachers forming a circle around the seniors and spending some time in prayer.
Thursday: The last chapel of the year. We began by watching a small group video of each group from this past year. Kaleigh interviewed Mr. Mitchell about next year's RENEW program. Mr. Wiener randomly called on some students to share about what they are doing this summer. He than gave a challenge to seek God and feed on God's Word everyday. We ended by singing Blessed Be Your Name. Thanks to Mr. Pelt, Tabitha & Emily.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAPEL
Kyle Groters, TC class of 2013 and present Moody student, spoke. The sixth graders joined us for chapel. After sharing some stories from his recent trip to India, Kyle challenged each grade specifically how God is calling them to be faithful to Jesus.
